Ready to take on the Full Distance Triathlon in Gurye, Korea—but not sure how to train for those iconic mountain views, riverfront roads, and shaded finishing paths?

Our 44-week Full Distance Triathlon Training Plan is designed for you, the beginner triathlete who’s ready to go all in. Whether this is your first long-course race or your next big milestone, this program breaks it down, builds you up, and gets you ready—physically and mentally—for race day.

🌊 Swim – 3.9 km in the calm Guman Reservoir
You’ll build confidence and endurance with swim-focused training in the early weeks, supported by easy-to-follow drills and video instruction. You'll learn to move efficiently through the water—just like race day.

🚴 Bike – 180 km along scenic mountain roads
The plan builds cycling strength gradually, helping you master long distances and rolling terrain like the Seomjingang River route. With structured intervals and endurance rides, your power and stamina will soar.

🏃 Run – 42.2 km through peaceful farmland and streamside paths
You’ll learn to pace, recover, and push through with RPE-based and heart-rate guided run workouts. Come race day, you’ll feel ready—steady, confident, and strong through every step.
