With crystal-clear waters, mountain air, and long, scenic routes, Full Distance Triathlon in Gurye Korea offers a spectacular challenge. This 44-week training plan is meticulously designed to get you race-ready for the specific demands of this course.

How This Training Plan Prepares You for Gurye
🏞️ Swim – 3.9 km in Guman Reservoir
Train for calm but sustained open water efforts. Our plan develops strong swim mechanics and aerobic efficiency—ideal for the steady pace required in Gurye’s reservoir. You’ll build confidence in open water conditions while preparing for a non-wetsuit-friendly 73°F (23°C) swim.

🚴‍♂️ Bike – 180 km through Jirisan Mountain
With rolling terrain, forest air, and long steady climbs, the bike course is scenic but demanding. Our program integrates:

You'll be prepared to maintain steady power and manage energy output across challenging elevation profiles.
