Whether this is your first full distance or you're coming back stronger, our 44-week Full Distance Triathlon Training Plan is designed to guide and empower you every step of the way. With simple structure, clear goals, and supportive coaching, you'll build the confidence, endurance, and strength needed to cross the finish line at Ross’s Landing with pride. Here’s how the plan prepares you to tackle the Chattanooga Full Distance Triathlon:

Starting in calm waters and boosted by river currents, Chattanooga’s swim is beginner-friendly—but preparation matters. You’ll build endurance and improve technique with weekly workouts that grow from 4.5 to 6 hours, including structured swim drills and video guidance to help you feel at ease in open water.
✅ Climb Strong on the 112-Mile Bike Course
With 4,300 feet of elevation gain and scenic loops along US-27, this ride is beautiful—but it can be tough without proper training. Our plan gradually builds your bike strength and stamina through RPE- and heart-rate-based sessions tailored for new triathletes. You’ll be ready to ride with confidence and control.
