With its current-assisted swim in the Tennessee River, a challenging 112-mile bike across the Cumberland Plateau, and a marathon that showcases the heart of the city, this race demands more than determination—it demands preparation. That’s exactly what our 44-Week Advanced Full Distance Triathlon Training Plan delivers.

✅ Swim Confidence for the Tennessee River
The plan builds your open-water swim strength with progressive endurance sets and technique-focused sessions. You'll be ready to take full advantage of Chattanooga’s fast, point-to-point river swim.

✅ Bike-Strong for 4,300 Feet of Climbing
Train for elevation with hill repeats, endurance rides, and structured power sessions. By race day, your legs will be primed for the long climbs and sustained speed across US-27’s smooth, scenic route.

The 26.2-mile run is no easy feat after 114.4 miles of racing. Our long-run strategy, brick workouts, and race-pace sessions ensure your body and mind are ready to tackle Chattanooga’s bridges, the Riverwalk, and that final surge down Riverfront Parkway.

🔥 12-Week Foundation Phase: Start strong, even if you’re rebuilding. Progress from 6 to 10 hours/week, finishing with an endurance-focused brick.
