The 36-week Full Distance Triathlon Wales Training Plan is specifically designed to prepare you for the unique challenges of racing in Pembrokeshire—arguably one of the most iconic and demanding Full Distance Triathlon courses in the world.

Prepare for the 3.8 km two-loop open water swim in cool 63°F (17°C) waters with progressive open water workouts, technique-focused drills, and confidence-building swim intervals. You’ll be ready for the high-energy zig-zag stair climb into transition, with no surprises on race day.
🚴♀️ Crush the 2,685m of Elevation on the Bike
The 180.2 km bike course through Pembrokeshire Coast National Park is beautiful—but brutal. Our plan includes structured V02 interval sessions, anaerobic threshold intervals, and long endurance rides that prepares you for the two-loop course and elevation profile. You’ll also build the strength needed to power through the climbs past medieval castles and famous film locations.
