The Full Distance Triathlon Italy in Cervia is a breathtaking and challenging event. With a 3.8 km swim in the Adriatic Sea, a 180 km bike ride through the Romagna countryside and Salt Pans Nature Park, and a scenic 42 km run across historic coastal towns, this race demands a finely tuned body and a strong, strategic mind.

That’s where our 44-Week Full Distance Triathlon Italy Training Plan steps in—engineered to match the course's unique demands and elevate your endurance, speed, and mental strength.

✅ 12-Week Foundation Phase
Build a rock-solid aerobic base with gradually increasing volume—from 6 to 10 hours per week. Week 12 features a Brick Endurance Test, ensuring you're ready for what lies ahead.

✅ 32-Week Specialized Program
Enter a structured, progressive phase designed around a 3:1 cycle—three weeks of focused training followed by one week of recovery to promote adaptation and avoid burnout.

✅ Progressive Volume & Peak Performance
Training volume scales from 10 hours up to 18 hours in week 39, preparing you for the physical rigors of the Italian Full Distance Triathlon. A four-week taper phase ensures you're fresh and primed on race day.
