Your Complete Guide to the Full Distance Triathlon in Cervia, Italy – Emilia-Romagna

Swim Course – Begin with a 3.8 km (2.4-mile) single-loop swim in the clear, calm waters of the Adriatic Sea. Starting at Cervia’s central beach, the course follows the scenic shoreline before returning to the transition area. Water Temperature: 72°F (22°C).

Bike Course – The 180 km (112-mile) two-loop bike route starts at Cervia’s promenade, winding through the stunning Salt Pans Nature Park and Romagna’s countryside. Iconic sights include pink flamingos and the descent from the charming village of Bertinoro back to Cervia.

Run Course – The 42 km (26.2-mile) run is flat and fast, with four laps through Cervia and Milano Marittima. Highlights include the Salt Warehouse, medieval city walls, and the grand Town Hall Square finish.
