Is this plan for me?



  • For time crunched athlete looking to build/maintain full distance race fitness in the off season

  • Ranges from 4 to 9 hours of training a week

  • Includes race-specific sessions such as bricks and open water swimming sets

  • Typical week = 2 swim, 2 bike, 2 run sessions, and 2 rest days

  • Uses a 3 week progression:1 week recovery cycle


Assumes that the athlete can (on an individual session basis) = swim 1400m (with rests), ride for 50 mins, and run for 40 mins.
