Plan Description

Full Distance Triathlon Canada-Ottawa: Ultimate Race Experience

Kick off your triathlon journey with a 2-loop, 3.8 km (2.4-mile) swim in the refreshing Ottawa River at Britannia Park. With an average water temperature of 70°F (21°C), this swim offers ideal race conditions and ample viewing space for spectators, creating an energizing start to the race.

Transition to the bike and ride through Ottawa’s scenic 180 km (112-mile), 2.75-loop course, closed entirely to traffic. Athletes will pass notable landmarks like Embassy Row, enjoying smooth roads and mild elevation changes along a route that blends urban landmarks with serene landscapes to the east.

The 42.2 km (26.2-mile) flat run takes you through Ottawa’s bustling city center, with plenty of spectator support. Athletes will feel the city’s vibrant energy every step of the way, concluding at an iconic finish line set against Canada’s Parliament.
