This structured 44-week triathlon training plan is designed to prepare you—mentally and physically—for the swim, bike, and run demands of the Full Distance Triathlon Leeds terrain.

Train to handle the calm, open-water conditions of Waterloo Lake with focused sessions that develop stroke efficiency and aerobic endurance. Two continuous laps - No problem. Our plan builds non-stop swim stamina, perfect for race day’s uninterrupted format.

✅ Bike Training That Mirrors Leeds Elevation
The hilly 180 km ride—with ~2,574 meters of climbing—requires leg durability and pacing precision. This plan includes structured intervals, long tempo rides, and brick sessions that simulate the undulating profile, including key climbs like Black Hill Road. You’ll arrive ready to ride strong, not just survive.

The marathon route through Roundhay Park features rolling hills and a four-lap structure. You’ll train with progressive long runs, strategic lap-based sessions, and pace management techniques that reflect the mental and physical demands of multi-loop running.
