Plan Description

Full Distance Triathlon 140.6 Les Sables d'Olonne-Vendée France

Swim Course (3.8 km): A one-loop swim from the iconic Les Atlantes beach, navigating through the historic Vendée Globe canal. With an average water temperature of 66°F (19°C).

Bike Course (180 km): Embark on a scenic yet challenging ride that takes you eastward into the serene Olonne forest and through picturesque French countryside. The rolling hills and sharp turns will test your limits, making this course as beautiful as it is tough.

Run Course (42.2 km): Conclude your triathlon with a 4-loop run along the stunning promenade and around Tanchet Lake, all leading to a triumphant finish in the heart of Les Sables d'Olonne. Expect an average air temperature of 75°F (24°C) on race day.

About The SIX-MONTH ADVANCED Full DIST Plan

Are you ready to take your performance to the next level? Introducing our meticulously crafted 24-week Full DIST training plan, tailored for the most dedicated athletes like you.

But before you dive in, a word of caution: Prerequisite training or base mileage is non-negotiable. This is not a plan for beginners. We repeat, ATTEMPT this program only after having first developed your base Aerobic System. Our Full DIST plan kicks off with a challenging 25-minute Anaerobic Threshold Interval Training session in week one. Are you up for the challenge? During this 24-week journey, you'll gradually ramp up your training from just under 10.5hrs in the first week to a peak of approximately 18hrs per week. That's dedication!
