Plan Description

The FULL DISTANCE TRIATHLON AUSTRIA - KLAGENFURT event features a stunning one-loop 3.8 km swim in Lake Wörthersee, known for its turquoise waters and scenic beauty. Swimmers pass through the narrow Lendkanal, cheered on by massive crowds. The average water temperature is 73°F (23°C).

The 180 km two-loop bike course showcases Austria’s picturesque landscapes around Lake Wörthersee. It includes rolling hills, challenging climbs, and a total of 1,750 meters of vertical ascent, with strong crowd support throughout.

The flat and fast two-loop 42.2 km (26.2 mile) run course takes athletes to Krumpendorf and back to the center of Klagenfurt, where enthusiastic spectators await. The average air temperature on race day is 81°F (27°C).
