Compete at your best on the breathtaking islands of Penghu with a training plan built for the extreme demands of the Full Distance Triathlon Taiwan. Known for its Hawaii-like tropical weather, high winds, and scenic but challenging course across Penghu Great Bridge and iconic coastal landmarks, this race demands more than just endurance — it demands precision preparation.

Our 36-Week Full Distance Beginner Triathlon Plan is crafted to match the unique conditions you'll face. Start with a powerful 12-week foundation phase designed to transform your swim technique and endurance. Through step-by-step video tutorials and structured drills, you'll build the skills and confidence needed for Taiwan’s two-lap, open-water swim.

As the weeks progress, training evolves strategically — starting from 4.5 hours and ramping up to 6 hours per week — ensuring steady, sustainable improvement. By week 12, you’ll be ready to tackle the ocean currents and beach exits like a pro.

Then, embark on a 24-week specialized build phase, targeting the rugged demands of Taiwan's rolling 180 km bike course and the flat but energy-draining marathon run.
