Plan Description

Experience the ultimate full-distance triathlon in Brazil, located in the stunning city of Florianopolis!

SWIM - Begin with a 2.4-mile swim in the crystal-clear waters of Jurerê Beach. Athletes will be immersed in the breathtaking Atlantic Ocean, with water temperatures averaging 68°F (20°C), providing a comfortable swim.

BIKE - Next, tackle a challenging 112-mile, 2-lap journey through the scenic Brazilian countryside. This course features rolling hills and sharp turns, with stunning views of lush greenery and charming villages. Be prepared for some humidity, with temperatures ranging from 75-85°F.

RUN - Finish with a 26.2-mile run along the picturesque coastline of Florianopolis, consisting of 4 laps. The course is relatively flat, but the heat and humidity can be intense, with temperatures between 80-90°F.

About the 36-WK FULL DIST ADVANCED TRIATHLON PLAN

- Base Phase: A 12-week foundational training phase, gradually increasing from 6 to 9.5 hours per week, culminating in a brick test session.

- Full DIST Phase: A 24-week program geared towards peak performance, with weekly training hours escalating from 10 to 18, including designated race windows for "B" and "C" events.

- Swim Mastery: Instructional videos and technique-focused drills to improve swimming performance.

- Dynamic Brick Sessions: Transition seamlessly from bike to run, mastering endurance fusion.
