Plan Description
FULL DIST TRIATHLON Australia in Port Macquarie, New South Wales
Swim Course: A 3.8km swim in the calm waters of the Hastings River. Starting at Westport Park, you'll swim under the Park Street bridge, pass the weir crossing, and then return to Westport Park for T1. The average water temperature is 73ยฐF / 23ยฐC.
Bike Course: The 180km bike course features two loops. From Hastings River Drive, head to Winery Drive, then return to Hastings River Drive and continue north over the Pacific Highway through scenic townships. After two loops, the course takes you along Ocean Drive with ocean views and the Tacking Point Lighthouse, ending with the challenging Matthew Flinders Drive climb before returning to transition at Westport Park.
Run Course: The 42.2km run course consists of four loops. You'll pass the finish line, run towards Town Beach, and experience the local support along the breakwall. The course continues along Kooloonbung Creek, through a shady park, past Westport Park, and north to Settlement Point Road before heading back to complete each lap.
