The Texas Full Distance Triathlon in The Woodlands is not just another race—it’s the North American Championship. With its 2.4-mile point-to-point swim in Lake Woodlands, a 112-mile flat and fast bike course on the Hardy Toll Road, and a high-energy three-loop marathon finishing on Waterway Avenue, this race demands more than just determination. It demands intelligent, progressive, and purpose-driven training.

That’s where our 44-Week Advanced Full Distance Triathlon Texas Training Plan comes in.

🔥 12-Week Foundation Phase
Lay a rock-solid base with a progressive commitment, growing from six to ten hours per week. We focus on strength, endurance, and technique—preparing your body and mind for the intense work ahead. Your Week 12 Brick Endurance test ensures you're ready to level up.

📆 32-Week Specialized Build
This isn't cookie-cutter training. Our 3:1 structure (three build weeks followed by one recovery week) aligns with elite training principles to promote growth without burnout. The plan peaks at 18 hours in Week 39 and tapers intelligently for peak race-day performance.

Swim: Hone open-water skills for Lake Woodlands’ unique point-to-point layout.
