Plan Description

FULL DIST TRIATHLON TEXAS begins with a 2.4-mile swim at North Shore Park, proceeding through Lake Woodlands and finishing at Town Green Park. The swim is a point-to-point course with one turnaround, in freshwater averaging 74ยฐF, where wetsuits may or may not be needed.

The 112-mile bike ride starts in The Woodlands and extends into Northern Harris County, including two loops on the Hardy Toll Road, which is toll-free for the event. The bike course is fast and flat, though cyclists should prepare for some wind and full sun exposure.

The 26.2-mile run features a three-lap course around Lake Woodlands, known for its enthusiastic spectators, especially at Hippie Hollow, a lively, decorated area that becomes more vibrant after dark. The run finishes on Waterway Ave. The event typically occurs in weather with an average air temperature of 82ยฐF (28ยฐC).
