Plan Description
FULL DIST TRIATHLON TEXAS - Athletes will begin with a 2.4-mile swim in Lake Woodlands, starting at North Shore Park and finishing at Town Green Park via a canal. The freshwater lake, averaging 74ยฐF, may or may not require wetsuits.
The 112-mile bike ride navigates The Woodlands and Northern Harris County, featuring two loops on the Hardy Toll Road, a fast and flat course mostly closed to traffic, though cyclists should be prepared for wind and sun exposure.
The final 26.2-mile run is a three-lap course around Lake Woodlands, highlighted by the vibrant spectator area, Hippie Hollow, with tie-dye banners and costumed performers, culminating in a finish on Waterway Ave. The average air temperature is 82ยฐF (28ยฐC).
