This is a 20 week build leading up to an Ironman or 140.6 distance race. Plans for intermediate athletes are designed to build the aerobic endurance necessary for completing the distance, while adding moderate components of speed, strength, and resilience. This plan incorporates race-specific pacing, simulations and benchmark testing in order to prepare you for your best race performance.
It begins with aerobic base building as well as setting a foundation of mobility and stability that will allow athletes to proceed injury free and with the durability required to maintain speed and strength throughout the length of the race. All strength training workouts come with videos and descriptions and are designed specifically for runners. The strength, mobility, and stability workouts is what sets this plan apart from other Ironman plans.
Included in the plan is an 8 week audio guide to provide meaning and context to your journey.
Flow Coaching:
Igniting purpose through peak performance
In a typical coaching framework, the gratification of hitting a performance metric or achieving a goal is often short lived, dependent on external recognition, and centered within a preexisting framework of success. It's a finite game.
Within my coaching containers, you'll learn how to access flow states for achieving your goals with more ease, and using performance as a conduit for your evolution on a wider scale.
