RETURN TO TRAINING FROM ILLNESS:
Before you start.
This plan is intended as general guidance following a mild, uncomplicated illness and once you feel well enough to return to exercise. It isn't appropriate for every illness.
Don't start simply because you've reached "Day 1". You should be managing normal daily activities comfortably and feel that the illness has resolved or is clearly resolving.
Seek medical advice before returning, particularly following a significant/prolonged illness, or if you experience chest pain/tightness, unusual shortness of breath, palpitations, dizziness/fainting, or symptoms that are concerning or aren't improving. Cardiovascular symptoms following illness warrant particular cautionYou don't automatically progress because it's the next day. You progress because you tolerated the previous stage well.
