Plan Description


Two plans, one progression. This bundle takes a complete beginner from zero to Half Distance finish line in 24 weeks, then carries that fitness into a Full Distance finish 36 weeks later — weeks of structured, day-by-day training with no gaps and no guesswork.

What's in the plan

Plan 1 (24 weeks): Builds from 3 hours/week to Half Distance race-ready — 1.2 mi swim, 56 mi bike, 13.1 mi run
Plan 2 (36 weeks): Continues directly from Plan 1, building to 15–18 hours/week and a full 140.6 — 2.4 mi swim, 112 mi bike, 26.2 mi run
2 swims, 3 rides, 3 runs, and 1 rest day per week throughout
Zone 2-focused aerobic development across both plans
Individualizable with Heart Rate or Rate of Perceived Effort
Compatible with TrainingPeaks smartwatches

Structure

Both plans use the same progressive framework: gradual weekly volume increases, built-in recovery weeks, and a structured taper into each A-race. Plan 2 picks up where Plan 1 leaves off — no restart, no redundancy.
