Plan Description

Intermediate Half Distance Training Plan. 20 wks. (Power for Bike, Pace for Swim, HR for Run)

Please note this plan is best for athlete's who use a power meter on their bike and want to use heart rate for their run.

This 20 week plan is ideal for athletes looking to advance their overall fitness level from a beginner to a competitor over the 70.3 distance. After the opening week's build you can expect weekly lactate threshold sessions on the swim, bike, and run.

This plan offers a complete rest day every 2 weeks as well as ample opportunity to run off the bike. Be prepared to challenge yourself with this plan and test your fitness by racing a sprint and olympic triathlon in your build up.
