A fast, scenic run along the Sacramento River Trail and across the iconic Sundial Bridge — this Half Distance Triathlon offers a course as breathtaking as it is rewarding. Your training plan is built to prepare you for every mile with precision, purpose, and power.

This structured plan blends endurance, power, and recovery across 3-week build cycles followed by one recovery week, ensuring sustainable growth and consistent gains.

Prepare for the gently rolling 56-mile bike through Shasta County with workouts targeting sustained power and efficient climbing. Run sessions mirror the varied terrain of the Sacramento River Trail, helping you maintain pace and rhythm through every elevation change.
