✅ Open-Water Swim Confidence – With Lake Ilopango’s calm yet expansive waters, mastering sighting, pacing, and breathing is essential. This plan integrates technique-focused swim sessions, open-water practice, and interval work to build speed, efficiency, and confidence for your 1.9 km swim start.

✅ Power for Rolling Terrain – The 90 km bike segment’s steady climbs and smooth descents demand consistent output and endurance. Structured bike workouts target aerobic endurance, tempo riding, and controlled climbing, ensuring you can maintain speed while saving energy for the run.

✅ Run Strength for Hills – San Salvador’s hilly 21 km run requires strong legs and smart pacing. Progressive run sessions blend steady mileage, hill repeats, and brick workouts to improve running economy and prepare you for the race’s final push.

✅ Full-Body Strength & Injury Prevention – Strength training sessions are built in to enhance core stability, climbing power, and injury resistance, so you stay strong from start to finish.

✅ Structured, Progressive Build – Starting with a solid aerobic base, the plan introduces VO₂ intervals, anaerobic threshold sessions, and race-specific bricks, giving you the endurance and speed to perform at your best.
