The Half Distance Triathlon Puerto Varas Chile Training Plan is specifically designed to prepare you for the unique challenges of racing in this stunning location. The swim in Lake Llanquihue, with its calm, fresh water and single-loop course, is tackled with focused open-water sessions in the plan, building confidence and efficiency while mastering pacing and sighting. 🏊‍♂️

On the bike, the 90KM route alongside Lake Llanquihue and Osorno Volcano features a mix of flat stretches, gentle ascents, and a total elevation of 788 meters. Our program incorporates structured bike sessions, including endurance rides, hill repeats, and interval training, preparing you for the climbs, descents, and scenic stretches you’ll encounter. 🚴‍♀️

The 21KM run around Puerto Varas, featuring flat terrain along the Costanera and one hill across three loops, is fully addressed with progressive run workouts, brick sessions, and threshold training. This ensures you maintain strength and speed while transitioning from the bike to the run, keeping you strong through the entire course. 🏃‍♂️
