Structured around a 3/1 cycle—three weeks of targeted, high-quality training followed by one week of active recovery—this Half Distance Triathlon training plan starts with a 12-week foundation, building functional strength and swim technique, and transitions into a 24-week focused phase to maximize endurance, power, and speed. 🚴‍♂️🏊‍♂️🏃‍♀️ Weekly training begins at 9.5 hours and gradually peaks at 14.5 hours, preparing you for the 1.9km swim, 90km bike, and 21km run of Puerto Varas.
