With a calm, fast 1.2-mile swim in Lake Cunningham, a 56-mile ride through rolling Nebraska farmland into Omaha, and a 13.1-mile riverside run across the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, this event demands precision training. This 36-week Half Distance Triathlon training plan is engineered for experienced Masters athletes over 40 who want to race faster, recover better, and perform at their peak.
