Our 44-week Middle Distance Triathlon training plan is meticulously crafted to prepare you for the fast, flat, and scenic courses of Xiamen, China. With calm waters in Tong’an Bay, a traffic-free 90km coastal bike, and a flat 21.1km run along the coast, this plan ensures you arrive race-ready, confident, and capable of achieving your personal best.

This plan begins with a 12-week foundational base phase, building strength, conditioning, and swim technique. By focusing on technique in warm water swimming, you’ll be perfectly primed for the Middle Distance Triathlon swim segment. The plan then transitions into a 32-week intensive program, gradually increasing weekly training from 9.5 to 14 hours, enhancing endurance, power, and speed on both the bike and run.
