The Middle Distance Triathlon Challenge Forte Village Sardinia Italy demands more than just endurance—it requires technical skill, strength, and strategic pacing across its breathtaking yet challenging course. Our 36-week Middle Distance Triathlon training plan is expertly crafted to prepare you for every meter of this iconic race.

Starting with a 12-week base, this plan builds a resilient foundation, mirroring the need for steady power during the 1.9 km swim in the crystal-clear waters off Forte Village Resort beach. You’ll refine swim technique and efficiency to confidently handle open-water conditions, setting the tone for the demanding bike and run sections ahead.

The 90 km bike segment winds through fully closed, freshly renewed roads around Pula, Domus De Maria, Teulada, and Sant’Anna Arresi—highlighted by a significant 7 km technical descent along one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes. Our training incorporates climbing accelerations, power intervals, and ATP-PC sprint sessions to develop the strength and precision you need to master this varied terrain and sustain high intensity when it counts.

Finally, the two-lap 21 km run along Santa Margherita di Pula beach and through the historic city center requires endurance and mental toughness. The program’s focused aerobic and threshold workouts progressively boost your stamina, preparing you to finish strong right in the heart of Forte Village Resort.
