The Middle Distance Triathlon Challenge Forte Village Sardinia Italy Training Plan is expertly crafted to prepare you for every aspect of this extraordinary course. The swim covers 1.9 km in crystal-clear, calm waters off the Forte Village Resort beach. Our plan emphasizes detailed swim drills and open water sessions to develop efficiency and confidence for this pivotal race segment.

The 90 km single-lap bike course, winding through Pula, Domus De Maria, Teulada, and Sant’Anna Arresi, features technical terrain and a thrilling 7 km descent on fully renewed coastal roads renowned for their breathtaking beauty. Our training incorporates anaerobic threshold and VO2 max intervals, plus power- and heart rate-based sessions, to build the strength, endurance, and bike handling skills needed for this demanding route.

The 21 km two-lap run follows the scenic Santa Margherita di Pula beach and historic city center, requiring sustained endurance and mental toughness. The plan’s progressive run training and brick workouts simulate race-day conditions, while functional strength sessions build muscle resilience for the varied terrain of the Middle Distance Triathlon.
