From the crystal-clear waters of Torà Beach to the winding roads through Es Capdellà and the vibrant boardwalk finish, the Middle Distance Triathlon in Peguera Mallorca is as stunning as it is challenging. This 44-week Triathlon Training Plan prepares you to thrive on every segment of this world-class course.

✅ Swim with Confidence – The two-lap open water swim requires pacing, sighting, and efficient turns after the short beach run between laps. Our program integrates open-water skills, sighting drills, and wetsuit/non-wetsuit adaptations so you can handle Mallorca’s warm waters with precision.

✅ Climb, Descend, Dominate the Bike – With 90 km of technical terrain and roughly 1,000 m of climbing, you’ll face long ascents early and fast descents topping 70 kph. Structured hill repeats, cadence work, and bike-handling drills are built in to match the profile of Es Capdellà, Calvià, and the Serra de la Tramuntana vistas.

✅ Run Strong on Mixed Terrain – The 21.1 km four-lap run alternates between boulevard energy and coastal tranquility, over asphalt, concrete, and tiled sections. You’ll train with brick sessions, tempo runs, and surface-adaptation workouts to stay efficient and resilient lap after lap.

✅ Progressive Performance Build – Start at just 9 hours/week in the base phase, growing to 14 hours/week in peak training. Includes VO₂ max sessions, anaerobic threshold training, and strength work to elevate every discipline.

✅ Race-Day Readiness – “B” and “C” tune-up races sharpen execution and boost confidence ahead of your Mallorca start line.

This Middle Distance Triathlon program blends endurance, technique, and strategic race preparation—whether you’re stepping up from shorter races or building toward a future Full Distance Triathlon. Every week is structured with purpose, supported by expert videos, power- and heart rate-based sessions, and direct email access to your coach.
