This 36-week Middle Distance Triathlon training plan is built to prepare you for the unique challenges of racing in Peguera Mallorca, from the crystal-clear waters of Torà Beach to the technical cycling climbs through Es Capdellà and Calvià, and the high-energy multi-lap run along Peguera’s bustling boulevard and scenic boardwalk. Designed specifically for competitive Masters athletes over 40, it blends science-backed endurance training with course-specific preparation for maximum race-day performance.

✅ Swim Confidence in Variable Conditions – Integrated open-water swim sessions and sighting drills replicate Torà Beach’s two-lap format and short sand run between laps, helping you maintain rhythm when exiting and re-entering the water.

✅ Climbing & Descending Strength – Bike workouts target sustained power for the 500 m elevation gain in the first 25 km of each lap, plus technical handling skills for fast descents reaching speeds of 70 kph.

✅ Mixed-Terrain Run Conditioning – Run training includes intervals on asphalt, concrete, and tile to prepare your legs for Peguera’s four-lap mix of pedestrian paths and maritime boardwalks—keeping you strong and steady late in the race.

✅ Masters-Focused Recovery & Strength – Periodized 3:1 training cycles, functional strength work, and mobility routines help you preserve muscle mass, improve durability, and reduce injury risk.

✅ Power & Heart Rate Integration – Fully compatible with Garmin and other platforms, delivering precise intensity control for swim, bike, and run.

✅ Race-Pace Simulation Workouts – Brick sessions and anaerobic threshold sets sharpen your ability to perform at goal speed under fatigue.
