The Middle Distance Triathlon in Peguera Mallorca is more than a race — it’s a breathtaking journey through crystal-clear Mediterranean waters, scenic coastal roads, and vibrant seaside boulevards. This six-month beginner-focused triathlon training plan prepares you for the exact challenges of this course, ensuring you arrive on race day confident, conditioned, and ready to perform.
🏊 Swim Course Readiness – Two laps in the calm yet dynamic waters of Torà Beach call for open-water skills, sighting techniques, and the ability to handle a short beach run between laps. Training includes endurance sets, sighting practice, and warm-water adaptation so you can excel whether wetsuits are allowed or not.
🚴 Bike Course Strength – The 90 km technical bike route features 500 m of climbing per lap, passing through Es Capdellà, Calvià, and fast coastal sections near Santa Ponça. Structured hill repeats, tempo rides, and descending skills will prepare you for sustained climbs, tight turns, and descents reaching speeds up to 70 kph, all while maintaining control and efficiency.
🏃 Run Course Endurance – Four laps through Peguera’s bustling boulevard and maritime boardwalk demand pacing strategy and mental resilience. Varied surface training, brick workouts, and sustained tempo runs simulate concrete, asphalt, and tiled terrain so you finish strong under the cheers of the crowd.
