The Middle Distance Triathlon Vieux Boucau France offers a unique and exhilarating challenge—1.9 km of sheltered saltwater swimming, 90 km of fast and flat cycling through pine forests, and a 21 km multi-lap run surrounded by roaring spectators. This 24-week triathlon training plan is built to prepare you for every aspect of this stunning course so you arrive on race day primed for peak performance.

⚠️ Prerequisite Training Required – This is for experienced athletes with an established aerobic base. The plan launches with 9 hours in week one, including VO₂ max intervals and anaerobic threshold work, and peaks at 14.5 hours in week 19.

✅ Swim-Specific Conditioning – Open-water swim sessions, sighting drills, and technique refinement ensure you glide efficiently through Vieux Boucau’s calm marine lake without wasting energy.
