The Middle Distance Triathlon in Sanremo demands a unique blend of endurance, climbing strength, bike handling, and mental focus. This 36-week Triathlon Training Plan is crafted to prepare you for every challenge the Ligurian course presents — from the calm but salty waters off Bagni Paradiso beach to the 17 km ascent of Passo Ghimbegna and the fast, technical descent into the heart of Sanremo, finishing with a flat, fast half marathon along the Mediterranean coast.

✅ Run Strength for Speed – Brick sessions, tempo runs, and pacing strategies sharpen your ability to hold form over the 21.1 km coastal pathway, including the unique rhythm shift through the Capo Nero tunnel.
