Step onto the start line of the Middle Distance Triathlon Almere-Amsterdam with absolute confidence. This 36-week program is built for competitive intermediate athletes ready to elevate their racing in one of Europe’s fastest and most scenic triathlons. Every workout is designed to match the unique demands of this flat yet wind-exposed course, so you arrive on race day fit, fast, and prepared.

✅ Swim-Ready in the Weerwater – The plan builds your open-water confidence for a single 1.9 km lap in Almere’s sheltered Weerwater lake. Technique-focused base training, sighting drills, and race-pace intervals prepare you for smooth navigation and a powerful exit toward T1.

✅ Bike Power for the Dike – With a 94 km, low-elevation route across exposed dike roads, wind becomes the real challenge. This plan integrates sustained tempo sessions, race-pace efforts, and aerodynamic positioning so you can hold strong power numbers while staying efficient in gusty conditions.

✅ Run Strength for a Flat Finish – Two 10.1 km loops around the Weerwater demand rhythm and speed. Progressive brick workouts, threshold intervals, and mental pacing strategies ensure you hit the Esplanade finish line with strength to spare.
