Step onto the start line in Turku with confidence, energy, and the joy of knowing you are ready. This 36-week beginner-friendly training plan will take you from your very first session to the finish line of the Middle Distance Triathlon Turku Finland, prepared for every challenge and ready to embrace every moment.

🏊 Swim – 1.9 km in the Aura River
You’ll master the skills to tackle Turku’s scenic river swim, starting upstream and gliding downstream past cheering spectators. Technique-focused drills and guided workouts will help you move through the water smoothly, conserve energy, and feel in control from the first stroke to the last.

🚴 Bike – 90 km, 3-loop E18 Highway Course
With structured rides that build endurance, strength, and steady pacing, you’ll be ready to enjoy the unique experience of cycling on the E18’s inner lanes. Every interval, every tempo ride, and every brick workout in this plan is designed to prepare your legs—and your mindset—for the multi-loop challenge ahead.

🏃 Run – 21.1 km, 4 Laps Along Turku’s Riverbanks
The run is where the festival atmosphere truly comes alive. Our plan will give you the pacing discipline, stamina, and mental focus to enjoy all four laps, soaking in the cheers as you move closer to the finish in Varvintori Square.
