This 36-week Middle Distance Triathlon training plan is tailored for senior triathletes 60+ preparing for the unique challenges of racing in Sandefjord, Norway. The plan’s video-based swim drills and open-water sessions prepare you for the 1.9km swim in sheltered fjord waters, with the skills to handle the Australian exit and re-entry. Cold-water acclimatization guidance supports comfort and efficiency in expected 18–20°C temperatures.

🚴 Bike Strength for Norway’s Rolling Countryside
Two-lap, 90km bike workouts mimic the rolling terrain, flat stretches, and gentle curves of the Norwegian countryside. Interval and tempo rides improve sustained speed, while brick sessions prepare you for the bike-to-run transition. Training includes power-based sessions to handle long efforts between the two aid stations per lap, keeping you race-day ready.
