Arrive ready for the 1.9km sheltered swim, 90km rolling countryside bike, and 21.1km flat city-center run with confidence and skill.

✅ Swim-Specific Preparation – The plan’s open-water swim drills and sighting practice directly prepare you for Sandefjordsfjorden’s Australian exit format. Expect to build comfort in water temperatures of 18–20°C and learn pacing strategies for a smooth, efficient two-lap swim.

✅ Bike-Ready Fitness – Structured bike sessions improve endurance for the 90km course’s long flats while sharpening climbing power for rolling terrain like Døla Hill. Interval work boosts your ability to accelerate out of curves, and endurance rides simulate the two-lap format with aid station timing practice.

✅ Run Strength & Speed – Four-lap run course? No problem. This plan includes brick sessions (bike-to-run) to train your legs for smooth transitions and steady pacing over Sandefjord’s flat, fast city streets. You’ll rehearse aid station strategies so hydration and fueling become second nature.
