The Gdańsk Middle Distance Triathlon is no ordinary race. With its invigorating Baltic Sea swim, flat-and-fast multi-lap bike course, and scenic 4-lap run through Ronald Reagan Park and along the beach, this event demands a strategic and well-rounded approach to training. That’s exactly what our 44-week Intermediate Triathlon Training Plan delivers.

✔️ Perfectly Aligned for Gdańsk
From the start, you’ll build the swim strength and open water confidence needed to handle the one-lap 1.9 km swim from the Gdańsk Brzeźno Pier. You’ll train in progressively longer, open-water-specific sessions, improving navigation, endurance, and mental calm—critical for a sea swim.

🚴 Dialed In for a Fast, Flat Bike Course
With a course known for its speed, the 90 km bike demands sustained power and discipline. Our plan integrates structured heart rate and power-based workouts to help you thrive in aero position, hold a steady cadence, and handle the demands of multi-lap pacing without burnout.

🏃 Run Strong Through the Final Lap
The 4-lap, 21.1 km run course winds through beach paths and park terrain—mentally and physically unique. Our tempo and threshold-based run sessions, coupled with brick workouts, teach you to manage effort across laps and finish strong, right to the Gdańsk Pier.
