Every detail of this Middle Distance Triathlon training plan is designed to prepare you—an experienced Masters athlete over 40—for the specific demands of racing in St. Pölten, Austria. Over six months, you'll build the endurance, strength, and race-specific skills needed to excel on one of Europe’s most unique and scenic triathlon courses.

With focused swim sessions that include open water skills, pacing, and transitions, you'll be ready for St. Pölten’s iconic two-lake swim.

🚴 Prepare for the Fast, Hilly Bike Course
The 90 KM bike route includes motorway speed sections and Lower Austrian Alps climbs. This plan features long rides with structured hill intervals and power-based sessions that simulate the 1,000 meters of elevation gain—perfect for building climbing strength and confidence on descents.

🏃 Dial In for a Fast Riverfront Run
