Plan Description

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Dominate the Middle Distance Triathlon in Cesenatico, Italy, with our 44-week training plan built specifically for the course’s unique demands.

This iconic triathlon begins with a 1.9 km open water swim from the beautiful beach of Cesenatico. Our plan integrates progressive swim sessions that refine technique, boost open-water confidence, and build endurance for a strong, steady effort.

Next, tackle the 90 km bike course—a mix of fast flats and over 40 km of challenging hills through the Romagna countryside, with 900 meters of climbing. Our program’s focus on aerobic base, VO2 max, and anaerobic threshold training gives you the strength and stamina to handle sustained climbs and technical descents with confidence.

The final 21 km flat run along the Cesenatico waterfront is built for speed. With a multi-lap format and fast terrain, our run sessions develop pacing precision and muscular endurance to help you finish strong—right into the heart of Parco di Levante.
