The Half Distance Triathlon Taiwan course calls for precision, strength, and race-specific preparation. This 36-week training plan is tailored for athletes 40 and over who want to train with purpose and line up with confidence at Flowing Lake.

🌊 Swim Ready for Flowing Lake
The plan’s early phase focuses on building swim-specific endurance and technique. You’ll gain the efficiency needed for the one-lap, 1.9 KM freshwater swim, with integrated open-water drills and video-based guidance that simulate the calm but fast conditions of Flowing Lake.

🚴 Build Power for the Coastal Ride
The scenic 90 KM bike along the Pacific Coastal Highway is fast but exposed to wind. With structured power-based intervals, tempo rides, and race-pace simulations, this plan builds the strength and rhythm you’ll need to handle coastal headwinds and rolling terrain while holding speed.
