With its two-lap ocean swim starting at Anfi del Mar Beach, the race demands strong open-water skills and comfort with re-entry transitions. Our plan builds confidence from day one:

The 90km bike course is no joke—four laps packed with sharp climbs, fast technical descents, and breathtaking ravine views. To tackle this dynamic terrain, we’ve integrated:
🚴 Targeted strength training for climbing power
🚴‍♀️ Heart rate & RPE-based bike workouts to boost endurance and control
🚴‍♂️ VO2 interval sessions to handle surges and steep efforts

The 21km seaside run winds through four laps with inspiring ocean views—but it's mentally tough, especially after a challenging bike. That’s why our plan includes:
🏃 Progressive long runs for aerobic strength
🏃‍♂️ Tempo and threshold sessions to build mental resilience and pacing strategy
🏃‍♀️ RPE/HR-based run workouts to ensure smart effort on race day

Whether it’s the early base-building or the final peak phase, every week in this plan is strategically laid out to support mastery of the Mogán Gran Canaria Half Distance Triathlon course. You’ll start with 9.5 hours per week, building steadily to 14 hours—safely, intelligently, and effectively.
