The 1.9 km swim in Roys Bay features crystal-clear alpine waters and mountain views — but cool temps and the chance of choppy water can catch unprepared athletes off guard. Our plan includes structured swim sessions, open-water simulations, and video-based drills that build technique and confidence so you feel calm, strong, and ready on race morning.
🚴♀️ Ride Strong through the Mountains
The 90 km bike course through Glendhu Bay and Mount Aspiring National Park is stunning — and challenging. With rolling terrain and short climbs, it demands endurance and smart pacing. We’ll guide you through progressive rides using RPE or heart rate so your legs and lungs are ready for anything the road throws at you.

The lakeside 21.1 km run rewards you with epic views and crowd energy near Wānaka township. We’ll get you there with strength-focused workouts, hill prep for that climb at 7 km, and race-specific brick sessions so you feel steady and strong from start to finish.
