The Half Distance Triathlon on Sir Bani Yas Island in Abu Dhabi offers a truly unique race experience—turquoise calm waters, a fast yet demanding bike course, and a vibrant coastal run. This 36-week training plan is specifically crafted to prepare senior triathletes (60+) to race strong and smart on this stunning course.

🏊‍♂️ Swim – 1.9KM in Calm, Protected Waters
You’ll build confidence in open water through progressive swim workouts and video-based technique drills, perfect for mastering the clear but open Arabian Gulf loop.

🚴‍♀️ Bike – 96KM with Flat Fast Loops + Scenic Climbs
Expect more than just flat riding. The 2-loop bike course includes steady climbs to 100m elevation. Our plan blends endurance rides with threshold efforts and brick sessions to prepare your climbing legs—and transitions.
