Plan Description

Ready to cross that finish line? This 5-week "Block Before the Race" is specifically designed to take you through the final peak and taper for your upcoming Ironman 70.3.

Assuming you have already built a solid endurance base, this high-intensity finishing block is about sharpening your fitness, nailing your race-pace strategy, and ensuring you arrive at the start line fresh and powerful.

The Final Push to Race Day
This block moves away from general base building and focuses on race-specific performance. We prioritize sharpening your VO2max capabilities and refining your Sweet Spot and Threshold endurance.

The plan balances intensity with intentional recovery:

· Precision Sessions: Sharpen your speed on the run and power on the bike with Zwift-ready FTP sessions.
· Race Readiness: Focused brick sessions and "Speed Activation" sets help your body adapt to the specific demands of race day.
· Maintenance & Mobility: We keep the engine running smoothly with targeted strength, morning mobility, and yoga to prevent injury during the highest-load weeks.
· Technical & Multilingual Support: All workouts are provided in both English and German.
· Seamless Sync: Bike sessions are power-based (FTP) and compatible with Zwift/TrainerRoad. Run sessions are based on Pace or Heart Rate. Everything syncs directly to your sports watch.
· Guidance: Strength and recovery sessions include PDF guides or links to instructional videos to ensure perfect form.
