This Half Distance Triathlon training plan is best suited for senior triathletes who can currently:
✅ Swim 1,500 meters comfortably
✅ Bike 30 miles at a steady pace
✅ Run 5 miles consistently

🏊 Swim Preparation
The calm 1.9 km swim is ideal for efficient pacing. This plan builds comfort in open water through progressive aerobic sets and includes video swim drills to refine technique and reduce energy expenditure—key for athletes over 60.

🚴 Bike Strength & Stamina
The rolling 90 km bike route through tropical landscapes is best tackled with strong legs and durable stamina. With integrated low-impact aerobic rides, power-based intervals, and resistance training, you’ll build the muscle balance and cardiovascular strength needed for long, steady climbs and descents.
