Begin with a 12-week base phase emphasizing low-impact aerobic fitness and video-based swim drills. This ensures you're ready for the 1.9km swim in the cool, calm waters of Lake Cahuilla, even if you're returning after a break. The structured workouts help restore joint mobility and stroke efficiency—key for a strong, confident start from the sandy beach.

✅ Power and Endurance for the Fast Bike Course
The 56-mile ride through La Quinta and the Thermal Raceway demands sustained power and leg durability. Our plan builds this through progressive long rides, threshold sets, and strength training to protect bone health and maintain muscle mass.
