The Half Distance Triathlon Valdivia Chile presents a unique test of endurance: a crisp 1.9 km river swim in the crystal-clear Calle-Calle River, a scenic yet fast 90 km ride through lush countryside with short climbs, and a flat, picturesque 21.1 km run across Valdivia’s iconic bridges. This 36-week Half Distance Triathlon training plan is built to prepare you—specifically Masters athletes 40+—to meet that challenge with confidence and precision.

✅ Cold-Water Swim Preparation: Integrated swim sessions and technique-focused drills help you adapt to Valdivia’s 14°C river temperatures, with added open-water simulation for sighting and wetsuit practice.
